Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to everyone who accesses Poliqa™. It sits alongside our Terms of Service. Breach of this AUP may lead to suspension or termination of access.
1. Intended use
Poliqa is for legitimate publishing, localisation, editorial, and related professional workflows: preparing multilingual editions, reviewing machine drafts, managing terminology, and approving publication-ready text.
2. Prohibited content and activities
You must not use Poliqa to upload, generate, store, or distribute material that:
- Is illegal under applicable law (including UK law)
- Infringes copyright, trademark, or other IP rights without authorisation
- Involves child sexual abuse material or exploitation of minors
- Promotes terrorism, violent extremism, or credible threats of violence
- Constitutes fraud, phishing, identity theft, or financial crime facilitation
- Contains malware, ransomware instructions intended for harm, or weaponised exploits
- Is unlawfully discriminatory harassment or doxxing
- Includes personal data you are not entitled to process (especially special-category data without a lawful basis)
3. System abuse
You must not:
- Attempt unauthorised access to accounts, systems, or data
- Probe, scan, or load-test the Service without prior written permission
- Interfere with other customers’ use or with platform availability
- Circumvent rate limits, billing, seat limits, or access controls
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code except where mandatory law allows
- Resell, sublicense, or white-label access without a written agreement with Rondanini Publishing Ltd
- Use automated scraping of the marketing site or application in a way that harms performance or violates robots.txt
4. Machine-draft outputs
- Do not present raw machine drafts as human-authored certified translations where that would mislead clients or regulators
- Do not use outputs to impersonate real individuals or fabricate deceptive credentials
- You remain responsible for human review before publication — see the Terms
5. Benchmarking and competitive misuse
Fair evaluation for your own purchasing decision is fine. You may not publish systematic competitive benchmarks of Poliqa that rely on unpublished Beta features or confidential pricing without our prior written consent, and you may not use the Service primarily to build a competing product by copying our workflows, prompts, or non-public interfaces.
6. Reporting
If you discover misuse or a security issue, email info@poliqa.com promptly. Do not exploit vulnerabilities beyond what is needed to demonstrate the issue responsibly.
7. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations, remove content, suspend accounts, notify authorities, and cooperate with lawful requests. We will act proportionately where circumstances allow.
